Prakash Muppirala

Prakash Muppirala joined Frontdoor in May 2023 as senior vice president and chief technology officer. He is an accomplished leader in business, technology, and innovation. Prakash has developed and scaled market-leading digital experiences for Fortune 500 companies, as well as start-ups. He is also the holder of 10 patents, underscoring his passion for innovation and technical engineering. 

Prior to joining Frontdoor, Prakash served at fabric Inc. as executive vice president for the multi-billion-dollar e-commerce startup, leading the vision, design, architecture, and engineering for the development of ecommerce, marketplace, and supply chain platforms.

Prior to fabric, Prakash served as president and chief technology and digital officer at Restoration Hardware where he helped grow revenues and earnings significantly in just over four years. Prakash previously served as senior vice president of global e-Commerce for Staples where he led transformation of the B2B and B2C commerce platforms and mobile apps, and at eBay where he served as the director of engineering and led the launch of several digital initiatives that drove customer and revenue growth. 

Prakash holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the National Institute of Technology Warangal (India) and a master’s degree in engineering management from Santa Clara University.
