Lara Balazs

Lara Balazs was appointed to the Board of Directors for Frontdoor, Inc. in October 2023 and serves as a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. As a marketing expert with over three decades of experience, she has a deep understanding of consumer- and digital-focused businesses, strategy, and operations.  She also has significant experience in areas of corporate social responsibility such as diversity and inclusion and positively impacting the environment.
Balazs currently serves as the Executive Vice President, General Manager, Strategic Partnership Group, and Chief Marketing Officer of Intuit Inc., a global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for consumers and small businesses. Prior to this expansion of her responsibilities, Balazs served as Intuit’s Chief Marketing Officer from November 2018 to February 2020.
From November 2017 to July 2018, Balazs served at, Inc., as Vice President, Worldwide Marketing for Prime, and North America. From January 2006 to September 2017, Balazs held various leadership roles at Visa, Inc., including Senior Vice President, Head of North America Marketing; Head of Global Innovation Marketing; Head of Global Product Marketing Strategy and Planning; Head of Global and U.S. General Consumer Marketing; and Senior Director, U.S. Marketing. Prior to joining Visa, Inc., Balazs was Director, Global Brand Management of Gap, Inc. from 2004 to 2006.  She also she served as Marketing Director, Direct Retail, at Nike, Inc. from 2002 to 2004, and as the Senior Brand Officer, Gap Adult and GapBody from 2001 to 2002.
Balazs holds a Bachelor’s degree in Society & Justice (prelaw) from the University of Washington, and an MBA from Northwestern University.
